Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BizCol, a product of IdeazShuttle LLC (“we”, “us”), processes personal data when you use our website and services. We are committed to handling your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

This document is a template provided for launch readiness and should be reviewed and approved by qualified UK legal counsel and your appointed Data Protection Officer before public release.

1. Who we are

The data controller is IdeazShuttle LLC, operating the BizCol platform. For privacy enquiries, contact us via the Contact page.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password (hashed), role, and contact details.
  • Profile data: for consultants — headline, bio, services, skills, certifications, portfolio; for businesses — company details and challenges.
  • Engagement data: consultation requests, appointments, messages, and reviews.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser information, and audit logs for security.

3. How we use your data (lawful bases)

  • Contract: to provide the marketplace, manage accounts, and facilitate engagements.
  • Legitimate interests: to keep the platform secure, prevent abuse, and improve our services.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable law.
  • Consent: where required, for example certain communications.

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as necessary to operate the service (for example, between the two participants of an engagement), with trusted processors (such as hosting and email providers) under appropriate agreements, or where required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

7. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, role-based access control, and audit logging. No method of transmission is fully secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately.

8. Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for details on cookies and similar technologies.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
