Getting started
- What is BizCol?
- BizCol is a UK marketplace that connects businesses with vetted independent consultants. Businesses search and compare consultants, send a free first consultation request, book a meeting, and leave a review afterwards.
- How much does it cost to get started?
- Creating an account and your first consultation request are free. See the Pricing page for details on engagement options.
- Do I need an account to browse?
- No. Anyone can browse the marketplace and view consultant profiles. You need a free account to shortlist consultants, send requests, message, and book appointments.
For businesses
- How do I find the right consultant?
- Use the marketplace search with filters for category, industry, skill, language, and country. Add consultants to a shortlist, compare them side by side, then send a consultation request to the best fit.
- Is the first conversation really free?
- Yes. Your first consultation request to a consultant is free, so you can assess fit before committing to an engagement.
- How do appointments work?
- Once a consultant accepts your request, you can request an appointment (date, time, duration, and mode). The consultant confirms it, and after the session is completed you can leave a review.
For consultants
- How do I join as a consultant?
- Sign up and choose the consultant role, verify your email, then complete your profile — headline, bio, services, skills, industries, languages, certifications, and portfolio. Submit it for review when it reaches 100% completeness.
- Why is admin verification required?
- Every consultant is reviewed by our team before appearing in the marketplace. This trust step protects businesses and keeps the network high quality. You are notified once your profile is approved.
- How many services can I list?
- You can list up to ten services, each with a delivery format, engagement type, and pricing model.
Trust, privacy & security
- How is my data handled?
- We process personal data in line with UK GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect, why, and your rights.
- Are messages private?
- Messaging is restricted to the two participants of an engagement and is not visible to other users.
- How do reviews work?
- A business can leave exactly one review per completed appointment. Reviews are public on the consultant’s profile and may be moderated for policy compliance.
